Meet the Owner Talin

Talin has been designing, painting, and instructing for over 35 years. Her work spans all mediums, though her first love and intensive training are in fresco work and murals.

Talin received her BA in Fine Art from Queens University and her MA from Winthrop University. She then went on to study specialized mediums and techniques in Europe. Her first course was fresco and ancient painting techniques in Greece. She then continued her study of faux finishes in London under Leonard Pardon, master finisher to the Royal Family. Next, Talin studied portraiture under Daniel Greene in New York.

Talin has completed many artist residencies, with the most recent in Israel, painting historic and biblical sites. She has been instructing for 25 years, not only in her own studio but also in Palm Beach elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, and universities. Talin organized gallery and art show exhibits and sales for her students in these educational institutions. She also instructs adult classes for the City of Boynton Beach Arts & Cultural Center, Valencia Reserve, and Palm Isles.

Talin holds teaching certifications in Florida, STEM certification, Interbaccalaureate teaching certification, Virtus training, and QSF art therapy certification. Her teaching style is summed up in this sentence: “By keeping things very simple, and gaining proficiency in each step, one gains skill quickly.” Talin instructs each student according to their unique learning style, personality, and individual artistic goals. Her students advance quickly, and many now enjoy selling and exhibiting their work.
